We needed to create excitement for non-English content on Netflix amongst UK audiences, and leverage this as a conversation driver among fans of entertainment.

We found that 72% of people in the UK are hungry for trying new cultural cuisines.

Leading to our solution: Eat This Show. The first-ever way to eat what you’re watching through Netflix. Watchers will have the opportunity to order, taste, and cook the dishes they see in their Non-English shows. With a love for food and a love for streaming, there’s nothing like consuming content from around the world.

Once the user clicks to watch a show, the Netflix introduction will display differently...

Before the show begins, Netflix will ask users if they want to eat this show.

Users can enter an Uber Eats code to order food to match their show.

After streaming 10 hours of content users can unlock an Eat This Show cookbook.

The YouTube channel, Tasty, will feature the Eat This Show cookbook, preparing dishes straight from popular non-english shows on Netflix.

Netflix Eat This Show food trucks will travel around the UK.
